Resources for the classroom
Hands-on natural science opportunities for students of all ages abound at Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge. School groups are welcomed and encouraged to visit and use the Refuge as their outdoor learning space. Although the Refuge does not staff an educator, they provide this Educator’s Guide to help teachers plan out a meaningful visit to Missisquoi NWR.
School Bus Stipend Request
The Friends of Missisquoi are dedicated to getting students onto the Refuge for exposure to learning about natural science via hands-on experiences. To help teachers in giving their students these experiences, the Friends offer a $150 contribution toward the cost of busing. Please fill out the questionnaire here.
